Of course use gloves, especially if you are having a bruising problem.
With gloves you will focus more on the workout than the discomfort and
when you can focus each exercise they are much more effective. When you
lift you should always focus on the muscle being used during the lift.
See it, feel it and use it to complete the move.If in fact you're not injured, ditch the machines, do more
barbell/dumbbell work and use chalk to absorb moisture from your hands so
the bars don't slide in your grip and don't cause you problems.
