IS IT BAD TO SKIP BREAKFAST !


VVEERRYY IMPORTANT!!! I can't stress enough how important it is. Breakfast gets your body going for the day and provides the necessary nutrients to keep your brain working during the day and help you feel good in school. I used to be just like you never eating breakfast, but once I did my research and started eating my concentration level in college has gone up and my moods are way better. Another thing eating breakfast is especially important for your future. Missing breakfast may lead to messed up meal schedules and could lead to obesity in the future. Do you want to be fat when you're 25? Probably not. Eat breakfast.

Chewing gum while working out?


It's a little weird, and could possibly be a bad habit if it affects your breathing. Getting sufficient oxygen to your lungs while you work out is important, so if that is in anyway affecting that, then I would cut it out.
But honestly, you should be working out at a level where gum-chewing is not possible because your breathing too hard. Sounds like your kind of taking it easy at the gym. Push yourself if you really want to see results.

What foods contain no calories?

The only thing that does not have calories is water.

You might have also heard of negative calories.

Negative calories foods are not foods that don't have calories. All food has calories of some kind unless it's water. Negative calorie foods are foods belonging to a diet that empahsizes foods that are low in calories, but which the body takes more energy to burn than it receives. The theory is that the normal calorie burn from digesting the food and living a normal life will wipe out the calories eaten from these foods.For example, if a slice of carrot had 10 calories, but took 12 to burn, that food would have -2 calorie effect on your body. That doesn't mean the carrots are -2 calories, but that the end result of this process is to lose weight. The idea with negative calorie foods, which are always certain types of fruits and veggies and are usually very high in fiber, and have a low number of calories to begin with.

It may seem surprising to learn all of the different ways that running can improve your health, but the truth of the matter is that these are only a few of the many benefits that it can offer to your body.  Running really is incredibly beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit, and you will find that even short runs can leave you feeling more energized, more focused, and better able to enjoy all that life has to offer.

Am I dehydrated?



If you're dehydrated, you will be tired, lazy, have headaches, your skin and lips will dry out and you will have dizzy spells. 

Drink enough water to make you feel good. 
Don't drink it till you're sick !
 

Can you drink too much water?



Be careful not to drink more than a gallon of water daily. Include any kind of pop, fruit drinks, juices, because those are mostly water anyway.
You should know you are drinking lots because you're peeing so much.
What happens is that each cell receives water to survive, and if it receives too much water, then the cell membrane, which is kinda like skin to hold it all together, can burst. And if too many burst, then you're in trouble. Another problem with drinking too much water is that you can actually flush some of your vitamins and needed nutrients out of your body.

As in everything in life, even water needs balance. The "8 glasses of water" we are supposed to have daily?  You need just enough so you aren't feeling thirsty or dry all the time. Weird as it sounds, drinking lots of water actually helps you eliminate excess water in your system, makes you less hungry. You can actually drown your kidneys if you over drink, which you are not doing. Not drinking enough will dehydrate you , and if you are missing enough, you will start getting headaches.

Water also gives you energy !
